10 October 2024 – A joint venture entity between Hoi Hup Realty Pte Ltd and Sunway Developments Pte Ltd has been awarded a mixed commercial and residential development site at Tampines Street 94 by HDB after submitting the highest tender price of $668,280,000.00 ($1,004 psf) at close of tender on 19 September 2024.
The site area of the subject site is 23,512 sqm (253,068 sqft) and the maximum GFA allowable is 61,834 sqm (665,581 sqft). The JV company intends to develop approximately 596 new homes above a one storey commercial podium of about 120,000 sqft of commercial space and early childhood development facility. This 99-year leasehold mixed-use development will also contain a community plaza to serve the neighbouring residents. In addition, it will boost a direct underground link to the Tampines West MRT station on the Downtown Line which will provide neighbouring residents a seamless connection to an operational MRT line that brings passengers directly to the downtown area.
Located in Tampines matured estate, the site is close to a plethora of amenities such as Tampines SAFRA, Our Tampines Hub, the Bedok Reservoir Park and Temasek Polytechnic. Nearby primary schools within 1km includes St Hilda’s Primary School and Tampines Primary School.
Last but not least, the site is conveniently linked to the rest of the island via major arterial roads and expressways such as the Tampines Expressway (TPE) and the Pan Island Expressway (PIE).
“We believe that this mixed-use development will be a landmark development that will serve a brand new HDB precinct of more than 5,000 new homes. We also believe that the new residential units on offer in the mixed-use development will be an attractive proposition for all looking for a new home in an exciting new neighbourhood in an otherwise already matured estate.” says Mr Wong Swee Chun, Chairman of Hoi Hup Realty Pte Ltd.
Current developments by the award-winning JV collaboration include Plantation Close EC (Parcel B), Novo Place, The Continuum, Terra Hill and Ki Residences at Brookvale.
